Instruction for Completion of Questionnaire

CPD Evaluation: Making the new CPD scheme work for you and your colleagues

Completing this CPD questionnaire will:

  • enable you to consider your CPD and your practice (this counts as CPD which you can claim on your CPD form)
  • help you to consider how CPD contributes to safe practice and enhanced patient care
  • help the GOsC to better understand the impact of the new CPD scheme as it is implemented, enabling us to offer tailored support and resources to osteopaths.

The CPD Evaluation Questionnaire will take about 30 minutes to complete. It has been reported by osteopaths that the questionnaire is short enough to be completed in a coffee break between patients.

The CPD Evaluation Questionnaire has a total of 39 questions across 6 pages.

It would be helpful for you to have your most recent CPD Annual Summary form or CPD Records in front of you when completing the questionnaire and perhaps also a copy of the Osteopathic Practice Standards.

Once you have completed the questionnaire you will be able to save an electronic copy of your responses to keep in your CPD Records as evidence or print a copy if you prefer.

You can pause at any time during the questionnaire, click on the 'finish later' button at the foot of the page you are on, and resume a little later by simply putting your email address in the box provided and pressing the 'send' button. You will then receive an email from Jisc online surveys stating that you have not yet completed the survey and that you can click on the link provided in the email to carry on with the survey. However, note that this link will only be available for 24 hours for you to continue to complete the survey.

You will be able to claim 30 minutes of CPD for completion of the questionnaire, along with any additional time spent reflecting on the content and what that means for you either individually or collectively with a colleague.

All responses will be confidential and anonymous. There is no way of linking data to respondents.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. Your views are greatly valued and your participation is much appreciated.
